QuickStep

This weekend at a time to dance (Click here for directions)there will be a showcase where there will be lots of different dances, including me performing the quickstep! YAY! For those of you who don't know what the quickstep is, the following video is a pretty good example...and I love Julianne :)



So it starts at 7pm and we are the first to go on, so make sure you're on time! The night is going to be great, so for all of you wanting something fun to do on Saturday night, be sure to check it out. The dance teachers are great people and really fun to watch, it definately inspired me to start dancing. Hopefully I will have some videos of them up after the night, but I hope to see ya'll there!

HELP!

I am writing this because I am in desperate need of some help/encouragement/tips/trips/any advice possible and I am hoping that all of you who are reading this will be able to offer me some! I quit coffee earlier this year and did not have any until November. I think I went a total of 6-7 months. I was doing so well...drinking a lot of tea, but I just missed the smooth, rich taste of coffee. After getting a new job and having my cubical RIGHT next to the coffee pot, I could not resist the smell any longer and decided with much enticing from fellow co-workers to give into my temptation. It has been several wonderful months of enjoying coffee, HOWEVER, I decided to give it up yesterday and I really don't think I am going to make it. Sometimes tea just does not do it for me and I've been so tired, annoyed, irritated, and unfocused. Any help anyone could give me would be great!

So fresh and so clean

Random, I know, but I work in the Library all day long therefore use the bathrooms in the lobby and yesterday I was in the student center and had to use the bathrooms over there...I find it quite amusing that the different buildings have their own distinctive soaps. And the comm building...they have the FOAMY SOAP! Oh yea! That's when I wish I worked over there! :-)

Can also be expressed as hahaha. Additional ha's can be added to the root haha to express an increase in laughter duration.

Oh how I long for sports

Well this Sunday Andrea and I ventured up to Richmond, which for the record takes longer than an hour and 10 min-whoever said that that's all it takes is mad crazy and has a speeding issue! Regardless, we went there to watch her cousin play lacrosse and it is making me long for sports...not necessarily playing them, but I love going to games and having the whole "school spirit" thing. Now I know that I can go to all of the other schools around here to watch their sports teams, but it's just not the same. Maybe the fact that I don't actually have a home team to root for is what makes me sad. Maybe another day my dream will come true. Oh and on that note, if anyone does play lacrosse and wants to get together for a game, contact Andrea Phelps...because she really wants to play (she was a goalie for years and wants to get some people together to play).
